Only chemical-free and preservative-free natural products are used in the following treatments. Priya Ayurveda is located in downtown Sacramento, where Ayurveda practitioner, Linda Dobranowski, uses only the highest quality products. This includes Dr. Douillard's LifeSpa products in addition to her own natural, organic, handmade recipes, such as 100x washed ghee, the ubtans and the medicated oils.
Ayurveda Facial

Your natural organic facial treatment begins with a relaxing foot soak and foot massage. This is followed by a facial cleanse and a facial rejuvenating massage, which combines gentle balancing touch, the stimulation of marma (vital energy) points, and an invigorating scalp and ear massage using natural aromatic lotions and oils which deeply calm, refresh, and re-energize your face and entire being. A facial mask and moisturizer appropriate for your individual skin's needs is then applied.
Himalayan Mountain Abhyanga Massage

This treatment is designed to bring the subtle energies of the body into balance through the application of medicated oils and various techniques including the stimulation of marma (vital energy) points. This full body massage is deeply revitalizing and relaxing, and at the same time, gently cleansing and detoxifying.

Let go of tension and stress while relaxing deeply into an exquisite full body massage using Swedish and deep tissue techniques. A natural aromatherapy oil appropriate for your body's needs will be used. The treatment concludes with a luscious steam aromatherapy foot wrap.
Back Facial

This back treatment begins with a cleanse, the application of aromatherapy steam towels, a back massage, a mask, and the application of a moisturizer; only natural products are used in a blend of oils that is uniquely individualized to you, revitalizing your entire being.
Shirodhara
(1 1/2 hours) $90 (buy four sessions, get the fifth free)
This treatment is a four-part sequence beginning with the gentle anointing of 12 marma points to begin the process of calming the mind. Then a gentle abdominal massage is followed by the Tibetan eye treatment, in which the feet and hands are massaged with scented oils while a cooling eye pillow rests over closed eyes. The feet are then cleaned with an ubtan mixture of oat,barley, and chickpea flours plus rose petals and brought to rest on warmed stones. Then a continuous stream of warm oil is gently poured over the forehead (third eye) to profoundly relax the body while bringing peace and clarity to the mind.
Shirodhara Add-on

Shirodhara can be added onto any of the above facials or massage treatments. After the main treatment, a continuous stream of warm oil is gently poured over the forehead (third eye) to profoundly relax the body while bringing peace and clarity to the mind.
Facial Cleanse Add-on

Castor oil (Palma Christi) has been used for healing since ancient Egypt. Used as a warmed pack on the skin, it increases lymphatic and blood circulation, promotes elimination, softens tissues and relieves pain. This profoundly relaxing, soothing, penetrating, and regenerative treatment stands on its own, or can be an add-on to a full body massage.
Cancellation Policy: a twenty-four hour notice is required for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. A missed appointment without such prior notice incurs the full charge of the scheduled service.
